On this Sunday after visiting the church service I already saw an interesting sky when a thunderstorm was visiting Rotterdam early in the afternoon. Driving through the city we also experienced several smaller storms containing hail. Later driving to the North Sea I was able to shoot some rare pictures as I realized afterwards; a 'low precipitation' (LP) supercell above our North Sea. 'Low Topped Supercells' were in the afternoon bringing even tornadoes over Belgium and the south of Holland. The Estofex Level 1 of this day: "....... Especially N France ... Benelux ... W and S Germany are progged to be affected by 10 m/s LLS and 20 m/s DLS. This coupled with rather low LCL heights and minimal capping may support evolution of mesocyclones which may spawn a few short-lived tornadoes. Also ... severe straight-line wind and large hail may occur. "
